When my mom Anna Elvera McEachran pictured to the right, married my dad Carl Richard Deifel they brought together the Irish-Scot and German nationlities. Hugh Patrick McEachran was her father. He was born (Nov 1887-Nov 1918)in Stillwater Minnesota to William Henry McEachrn (May 1849-Feb 1944) and Abigail Catherine Donalds (Dec 1854-Dec 1937). Abby and William were married in 1877 New Brunswick.
Abby was born into an Irish family while William came from a family that migrated from Scotland.
